about

This is the premier CD of En Lewellyn, founder of Crepuscule. Lewellyn is a mortician by trade and explores and communicates to other dimensions via experimental EVP tape recording. He has contributed to many compilations (Death Odors I and II, Slaughter Productions) and released only one solo 7" called "Bookends for a Dream" on Klanggalerie (AU). Crepuscule is not trying to be a musical artist, but makes strange works mostly of sound noise EVP concrete. His sound can be found to be said to range from frightening whispering ghost sounds and bizarre dialog to angelic chorus of angels in heaven. He submitted original EVP recordings of ghost voices that he communicated with to Schloss Tegal that were used on Schloss Tegal's "Black Static Transmission" CD. This is his first full length CD released on Tegal Records. A dark cinematic look into the tribulations of family life (much like David Lynch's "Eraserhead" film), where manic insanity senility takes over and how and why life begins and ends. The first track on the CD is the first thing you would hear as soon as you are born into life itself. An array of cut up sound incidents and an eerie strange work. Comes in a beautiful red bloody folder artwork by sound artist Richard Chartier with original text inside by En Lewellyn.
